As the challenger brand to the big three in out of home advertising Open Media needed a brand that set them apart in a real way. As a B-Corp organisation with deeply engrained values and a passion for relationships, this brand needed to be as bold as people who work there. Through workshops and stakeholder engagement we captured the essence of the brand and what it means for the future.
Taking inspiration from the technology and communities surrounding the screens we developed a simple variable brand marque that could adapt, evolve and convey the dynamic nature of out of home. How people view the screens, the varying shapes and ever changing content were all brought to life in a single shape. Coupled with a simple clean colour palette that is based in the digital space, it has a premium feel without the pretension. The brand use is big and dynamic, there’s no time to whisper in this space so we made sure the brand is heard as well as seen.
The new brand gives Open Media the banner they needed to make noise in the industry and, show that a values led company who won’t give up on human connection can stand proud.
